Edward looked at Helen with disbelief. She saw David’s dead body right before Linda and Sarah found it. Helen could not believe it herself. She was sure no one else could either. They quickly got dressed and went where Linda and Sarah found the body. Everyone was there.

All of them were terrified and sad. Linda was devastated. Even if what he did was wrong. He didn’t deserve to die. All of them prepared to bury him on the moon. Sarah informed Houston of the tragic passing. She put on record that David died when the carrier caught fire.

David’s funeral took place that evening. They buried his body and paid their respects. Everyone was feeling dull that night so they decided to contact their loved ones at home. Michelle was a single mom. She had a kid, a girl and she was living at her sister’s home during the mission. She called her that night. “Hi mommy!” she was waiting for her at the system. “Hello, my baby! Where is auntie Ruth?”

“She’s with Daniel.”

“What did you just say?”

“She’s with Daniel. He is very nice. He told us to tell you to come back soon.”

“Baby, I need you to stay away from Daniel okay?”

“But he is always with auntie Ruth.”

“Could you call Ruth here please? I need to talk to her.”

“Auntie Ruth!! Mommy wants to talk to you!”

Ruth came to the system. Michelle said, “Why don’t you go and play while I talk to Ruth?”

“Okay”, said her daughter and ran away to her room.

“Who is this Daniel my daughter keeps telling me about?” asked Michelle. Michelle’s sister’s eyes were glowing red for some reason.

“Dear sweet Michelle. I’m Daniel! You need to come back home soon… Or something might happen to your lovely sister and daughter.”

Michelle got so freaked out that she disconnected the call. She ran straight to Sarah to tell this. It was high time Sarah started believing in the supernatural. Sarah believed what Michelle told her and for the sake of her daughter she decided to cut the mission short.

She explained to Houston that the moon rock collecting mission was unsuccessful and they were on their way back.

She ordered the ship pilots to get the ship ready and the ship specialists to check the ship systems. Everything was ready so they launched the next day, back into space, hopefully leaving behind everything that happened on this failed mission.

In the Commander’s report, Sarah didn’t mention any of the hauntings. She didn’t mention the revelations of Major Daniel Young’s death either as the whole crew agreed that it was for the best. After the take off, the ship went into a steady flight mode towards Earth.

Everyone was eagerly waiting for this miserable mission to get over and get back to their loved ones. Michelle was terrified still. What had Daniel’s spirit planned? Why did it want them to return?

The Scare

She was so scared that she jumped when Linda asked her to join everyone in the dining compartment for lunch. “Why so jumpy?” Linda said playfully.

“Nothing, I was worrying about my daughter.”

” Don’t worry”, said Linda, “I’ve left your sister. I’m here now.” Her eyes were glowing red and Michelle froze.
