By the looks on his face, he was terrified. Sidney stepped in. She said, “Don’t crowd him up. You guys are scaring him. Let me talk.” We left her alone with Ned.

Soon the last unconscious member woke up. He was in the kitchen. Dolly went in to check on him. He did not let anyone else come in. Her weird reason for doing so was that she thought she had some connection with him.

Molly and Chan went upstairs to check out for clues. Ronald took Sarah upstairs to the attic to search it. Aron, Debbie and I were left. We decided to look for clues downstairs till Sidney and Dolly fill in Ned and the other one because all of us thought they also didn’t have any recollection of who they were.

We decided to split up and search. Someone had to be hiding something or the other which was causing this weird acute memory loss. Debbie decided to search the outskirts of the cottage. Aron tried to suggest against that but she was stubborn.

Aron went into the library and I was left with the living room and a door at the end of the alleyway that directed me in the living room.

I decided to check out the living room first. I looked around. The living room was spacious. Sidney and Ned were talking over the coffee table surrounded by designer sofa sets. Ned looked calm now. I thought I should go in and have a little chat. I introduced myself, “Hey, I am Dexter.”

“Ned…” he said with despair. Sidney added, “Dexter I think you should look around for clues. Ned and I are not done talking yet.” I said, “Okay then. Pleased to meet you Ned.”

I smiled and went towards the fireplace. The fireplace was a typical old age homes type fireplace. It had a shelf over it over which was a huge hanging clock. The time in the clock was 2:30.

I could see that there is nothing around in the living room to investigate. Then I decided to check out the unopened door. I went towards it. As I was about to reach for it, it opened and Debbie walked out of it.

She looked like she was hiding something behind that door. It looked as if the haunted basement was down there.
