The next morning Dazz was nowhere to be found. There was a note beside Rachel which said, “I’m changing pretty quick. I don’t want to be trouble for you guys. Kill the Doc and save me. I’ll be around you but at a safe distance so that I don’t hurt you all. Be safe. Take care my love.” This made Rachel both angry and worried. She had to hurry now or she’ll lose her only love.
She stopped crying and clearing her throat she asked Natalie, “So how do we kill it? I mean Dr. Dakash? How do we kill Dr. Dakash?”
“According to this book by a silver knife.”
“Now where are we going to find a silver knife?”
Sam and Natasha walked towards them. Rajesh asked, “Where the fuck were you guys? I was worried sick. I thought the Doc ate you up or something.”
“We were sightseeing and guess what we found?” said Natasha.
“A silver knife?” asked Rajesh.
Sam said, “Something better. Last night I was awake and I saw Dazz running away. I thought I should follow him. Maybe he was going to the doc…”
“…and I saw him going so I thought of following him to make sure he doesn’t get into trouble.” said Natasha.
“Oh cut to the chase now!!!” said Rajesh.
“Ok,” said Sam, “As you already know Dazz is faster than normal humans now so I couldn’t keep up but I found something. I found an entrance to an underground bunker of some sorts. It had lots and lots of food and ammunition supplies. Wanna go check it out? Maybe we find some silver knives too… What do you say?”
“Not a bad idea, ” said Natalie.
Silver Ammunition
They followed Sam into the bunker. As he was saying, plenty of food and ammunition was stacked there in case of emergencies. Luthor found the power supply’s main switch. As soon as power was clicked on a clip started playing on a big LCD screen on their left. Dr. Dakash was speaking. He said, “This new gene we developed is acting like a virus and somehow its superstitious. The subject is acting as a werewolf from the movies. It hates being touched with silver and some of our subjects even died from silver bullets.”
“One of our operatives were bitten by one subject three days from now and he became exactly as them yesterday night which had a full moon. From earlier biting incidents it was found out that if the biter dies, so does its genes from the bitten. Typical werewolves directly from the book.”
“I’ve made some changes in the formula of the gene. Maybe now it will be stable and make the animals somewhat human with brains and power to control their hunger. If this is successful then we have an immortal soldier with us.”
“I am going to administer this on me. In case someone is watching this video, it means something has gone terribly wrong and I’m one of those monsters now. To kill me or any of the escaped werewolves use the silver ammunition in this bunker. Bullets will make the beast slow for a while but you can only kill it by using the silver sword. May God be with you.” The video ended.
Luthor said, “Okay everyone! Arm yourselves. I’ll take the sword. Let’s do this!”
Rajesh went to the farthest corner of the bunker to get him the Bazooka. The Bazooka was in the dark part of the bunker.
More Beasts behind Rajesh
Suddenly Rajesh’s cry was heard and he came running back towards them. On his tail was a werewolf. He jumped high and caught Rajesh and tore him into pieces. Natasha was quick to fire a bullet to the beast’s head. The beast screamed in pain and anger but he kept coming.
The others joined Natasha and fired their firearms. When the wolf was completely immobilized, Luthor decapitated the beast. There was a sigh of relief. Suddenly from the dark parts of the bunker they could see deadly red eyes. Out of nowhere an army of werewolves was coming towards them.
Sam made everyone get out but he stayed there and closed the bunker door. He knew the place was full of explosives and silver. An idea struck his mind. He could see a hand grenade in his range. Then he reached for it and took off the lid. The werewolves attacked him like hungry lions tearing him apart. His screams could be heard uptop. Natasha was screaming and crying for Luthor to let her go.
She wanted to go to her brother and save him but it was too late. The earth below them quaked and there was an explosion sound to be heard. The bunker door flung open and flames of an explosion were to be seen. Luthor left Natasha. She screamed in pain. Her brother was her only family and because of her curiosity he was dead. She would never forgive herself for this. Rachel and Natalie gave her the courage to carry on and they returned to the hut…
