There was an eerie silence on the comms. Sarah finally broke the silence by saying, ” Bring the suit to the command module! Let us examine it. Let’s find out how it got here.”
Edward and Linda dragged the suit back to the command module. Jeff Adams was a criminal investigator before he joined NASA. He examined the suit and found out that the suit had been in the carrier for a really long time. It seemed like it had been there since Major Young’s death.
They then reviewed the footage of the carrier’s interior camera. According to the camera, Young crawled back into the carrier but as the carrier was not in use, he couldn’t fix the problem in his suit and died inside. Edward did not let anyone touch the suit as it could still be contaminated so he took it back to the carrier and placed it in a safe box.

While coming back towards the command module, a malfunction caused the carrier door to lock from the outside. Edward was trapped inside. He used to have a fear of closed spaces when he was a child. The fear came back. He tried to call for help but his comms were also not working. He tried to manually open the door but the manual functions were also not working.
Suddenly the gravity became really strong. It was like something was pushing him to the floor. He kept shouting help help but due to the gravity his voice was also muffled. He suddenly remembered that the carrier was already connected to the main computer so he could send a signal directly to the command module. Then he tried to crawl towards the button that records the message to be sent.
He couldn’t move because of the gravity. Suddenly the air started to become thin. He now had trouble breathing too. It felt like someone was choking him. He now heard a weird growling noise. It came from right above him. He felt light headed and finally collapsed.
Edward woke up in the medical module. Dr. Hill greeted him and asked him how he was doing now. He felt alright now. He asked, “How did you find out I was in trouble?”
Edward’s girlfriend Lt. Helen walked in. She and the doctor had a conversation in whispers. Helen asked, “What do you remember Edward?”
Edward told her the whole story. Helen had an iPad with her. Helen said, “This is what actually happened.” She played a recording on the iPod. The recording showed Edward going into the carrier and opening the box and putting the suit in.
After that Edward did not close the box and kept staring at the suit for about two whole hours. Worried Helen walked in to check on him. She tried to break his trance state but Edward didn’t budge. He kept staring at the suit.
By the time Helen called for help, Edward collapsed on the floor. Dr. Hill carried him to the Medbay shortly after that.
Edward could not believe what he saw. What he felt was so real that he was now starting to doubt what was real and what was not.
